Thorong La is a mountain pass and is also known as one of the highest pass in the world. The The Thorung La Pass is positioned on a trail that joins the village of Manang to the east. There is a temple of Muktinath and a nearby village of Ranipauwa, in the Mustang District to the west. Thorong La Pass is the uppermost point on the Annapurna Circuit that is 300 kms way towards Annapurna mountain range. Local traders and trekkers are visiting the pass. The passes going towards trek has number of environments as you climb up from sub-tropical forest to the high and dry area that look like the Tibetan Plateau
Thorong La Pass Trek takes you through the amazing valley of Manang and then it goes towards divine place of Muktinath. Kali Gandaki is the world's deepest valley in Thorong La Pass. Thorong La Pass is dangerous during other times because there are augmented risks of slides and the tissues freezes due to extreme cold. Thorung La Pass Weather is very stormy after the sunrise.

The Thorong La Pass Temperature on the western side of the pass is much dehydrated than on the eastern side. There is no foliage on the western side of the Thorong Pass. There is more vegetation and cultivation in Manang Valley because the valley is protected by wet southern monsoon breeze by the mountain range.
