During the time of winters, the temperature drops to a minimum of -35°C while in the summer season the maximum temperatures is 25°C. In summer season the highway and camp in Sarchu is opened from the month of June to October. In the winter season , the highway and camp are closed when snowstorm blocks the highways road.
