Panamik

Panamik is situated about 150 kms from the Leh city. Panamik Village is situated at an elevation of 3,183 meters beyond the sea level. It is located at the bounds of the village. Panamik is very adjacent to Siachen glacier and it is the highest frontline in the world. Panamik is in Nubra Valley and it is recognized for its hot water spring. Panamik Ladakh is surrounded by the attractive mountains and the breath taking view of the green valley of Panamik is a vision to observe. Visitor should visit the Panamik Ladakh because of its charming beauty. Panamik is well known for its Bactrian camels and Pashmina goats. Panamik is renowned for the Kashmiri carpet, Pashmina shawls and woolen socks. There are various fruits that are also famous are apricots, walnuts, apples and almonds. Foreigners are also allowed to visit the Panamik Village.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Panamik Nubra Valley is during summer season because it can be easily retrieved through the Khardung La pass. During June and September is the ideal time to go to Panamik village. The main gateway to Panamik is Khardung La pass.
